This next stage car seat is ideal if you already have the Darwin Infant car seat and need a new one for the next stage - This will clip straight onto the i-Size base you were using with the infant car seat. If you do not yet have the base, it can be bought separately in this store. 

Inglesina Darwin next stage car seat clips securely onto the base in a rear or forward facing position. The rear facing position is safest and is recommended for as long as it is comfortable for your little one (at least 18 months old) - but at some point, you may find that your growing child needs more leg-room and at that point, the forward facing position will be more comfortable.

This Darwin next stage car seat will suit your little one from birth until approximately 4 years old. 

Should I buy the i-Size base as well?

The base is optional but offers two significant advantages:

• Firstly, it is safer because the car seat is more stable on the base and because the risk of installing the seat badly is very much reduced.

• Secondly, it is a lot more convenient because the seat clips in and out of the car, meaning that you can pick up the Darwin seat with your sleeping baby in it and not wake them up! The swivel feature means it is easy and comfortable to put your baby into the seat before setting the seat to a rear or forward-facing position.

The seat has layers of inner padding, neck and a head support that can be adjusted to six different levels, as your baby grows. 

The seat can be tilted to 4 different positions, so that your little one can be comfortable whether eating a snack or having a snooze.
