The Electa travel system is designed for urban life

Inglesina's travel systems all include their roomy signature Carrycot with the ingenious Welcome Pad mattress and a lift position for babies with colic. There is also the Seat Unit for the pushchair which can face towards the front or back and which can take a child up to 22kg (versus the industry standard of 15kg). The infant Car Seat and 360° base for the car. And the two bases onto which you can clip the carrycot, chair, or car seat: the Chassis, for when you are out and about, and the stand, for when you are at home. The carrycot is so well-designed that it can equally be used as a bassinet for your newborn to sleep in at night.

The sets all also include 2 raincovers and a cup holder.

Electa is Inglesina's urban travel system. It is the lightest of their range, at just 8.7kg, and slightly narrower than the Aptica - which is itself lighter and narrower than the all-terrain Aptica XT. Electa is what you need if you are always in and out of public transport, or driving a very small city car.

• The 'Welcome Pad' mattress in the carrycot has two outstanding proprietary features developed with neonatal doctors - It has a special adjustable cushion to support your baby's legs which helps keep them in a position which is good for their spine position and It also has a shaped area for the head to avoid the development of flat head syndrome. It also has a ribbed texture for your baby's feet, which contributes to their development and it is made of bamboo - a natural and renewable material.
• The roomy carrycot has a clever handle you can turn to raise your little one up, if they have colic, or a cold. You can also fully remove the interior padded cover and pop it in the wash.
• The car seat has a little toggle you can pull to adjust your baby's position, so that their back is less rounded, which is important for longer car journeys, or if baby has fallen asleep and you don't want to wake them. Because of this, Inglesina's car seat is the only one in the UK to be approved for baby to be in for longer than the standard recommended 2 hour period!
• Inglesina pay particular attention to air circulation - open the air vents to ensure your little one won't get too hot in the summer and close them for cosy warmth in the winter.
• When you fold the pushchair (one-handed), the handle folds upwards and not downwards, which is more convenient and hygienic. 
• Inglesina pushchairs are super-comfortable to push and light to carry.
• The handlebar can be adjusted to suit taller or shorter people.
• The carrycot can be placed on the stand and used as a bassinet for baby's first months of sleep, saving you the cost of buying a bassinet separately.

Ultra lightweight and compact at 8.7kg

When closed, the pushchair can easily fit into the boot of the smallest city car. It can be folded with the seat fixed onto the chassis in either front or back facing positions.
